I recently purchased these with prescription and I have nothing but good things to say. Crystal clear, light and comfortable around the ear.

Jordan, This is very unusual. We do have a 1 year warranty and we can replace these if it was a defect. {Please go to to see how. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have been using these for the past three months. I work in a job that requires me to look at a computer screen most of the day and I am a hardcore gamer.

Needless to say my eyes get pretty torn up on a day to day basis. I have been wearing my Intercepts in the evenings while I play video games only and it has pretty much removed the need for me to use eye drops to clear redness and irritation. Cant say enough how awesome these are. They aint cheap, but they are worth the buy for sure!

Absolutely love my pair of Gunnar’s. As soon as I put them on the first time, I could notice a difference. My head aches went away, and no more eye strain. I also wear them around the house and at the work place and I would recommend them to anyone. My only complaint is that it the frames kind of look as if they will fall out, but have had no trouble with them yet. I would definitly recommend these to anyone that spends more then 4 hours a day on any electronic device, which is pretty much everyone.

I recently purchased these glasses and I’m very impressed with them. They work awesome outside for driving or just hanging out, I’m going to try them tonight while watching TV, I really hope they work at night.. I would 100% recommend them to a friend.

DOOD! These glasses the bomb! I play intense video games 3 hours a day and after I put these on, no more eye strain! I used to get head aches a lot. With these i gotta say I can’t complain about anything.

These are by far my favorite glasses ever. Even my prescriptions are literally perfect. The quality is outrageous; mine flew off my face while on a massive water slide and landed at least a 100ft drop into an Olympic siize pool and don’t have a scratch on them. 10/10 will re-purchase when the need arises.

I tried these glasses for a day or two and I got a horrendous headache although the first impression was kind of relaxing feeling. Now since I had a similar problem with another type of glasses, I suspected that I simply should put them away for a few days and then try on. Well, I did so. There is a difference, there is no headache so I guess it was actual muscle relaxing headache first day or two. So although they are fine and at first very relaxing, you might think about wearing them less for a first few days and only then decide.

This does not say that glasses are bad, quite contrary, but you need to be careful with anything new on your head. A strain you have in your eyes might need a long overdue break and trust me that can hurt.

I got these with my prescription. They work great. Just make sure that you order your frame big enough as I found they come a little small.

No more eyestrain and headache during work/gaming. I don’t wear glasses, but going out with the Gunnar makes everything looks better and clearer. It’s a must buy for everyone. Protect your eyes before you have to wear corrective lenses.

ryanbrunson (verified owner) What the cobalt Amber intercepts look like, super helpful for my school work and school chromebooks that we use 24/7 in class. Love them and they are worth the price 🙂

I’ve just recently experienced a concussion, I’ve been unable to use my computer or watch television since it would cause headaches. My grandmother had seen that “gaming” glasses can help with headaches while gaming on TV or the computer, so I figured I would try it out. I just purchased the pair today at my local Best Buy and can say that I really enjoy these. So far I have not experienced a headache when I normally would have since I started writing this review. I highly recommend Gunnar optics to everyone! Keep up the great innovation and hopefully we can see even greater progress in the future!

I bought the Intercepts on Sale to try at work. Initially, it was just an experiment but after wearing them everyday from 8 to 5 for the last couple months I’ve noticed that I don’t get headaches everyday like I used to, and when I take them off the monitor is too bright to focus on.

I’m also prone to motion sickness. Video games, constant downward scrolling motion, and too much on-screen movement can aggrivate the condition. But, if I put my Gunnar’s on, it reduces the frequency and severity of the symptoms.

I get a lot of compliments on my Intercepts too. I think they look sharp.

I’d like to get a pair of Microns to try and to keep on my desk at home.

I’ve been really lucky that I’ve never had to wear glasses for actual visual impairment. That being said, I’m really peripheral with my vision and a little disoriented if my entire field of vision isn’t uniform.
I first ordered a pair of Emissaries because they appeared to be the lightest and unobtrusive. The lenses turned out to be much smaller than what I needed them to be. The slight magnification in all Gunnar glasses pulled my brain in all sorts of weird ways because I was seeing magnified and not-magnified at the same time.
I traded those out for a pair of Intercepts and the change has been night and day. The lenses on the Intercepts are much taller and the thick frame around the lenses almost entirely cover my peripherals as well.

I would recommend these as good glasses to start with or for people who don’t usually wear glasses. They also fit my larger-than-average head fairly well.

I almost wish these glasses weren’t worth 5 stars because I feel like seeing only 5 star reviews makes it look skeptical.
sorry but they’re worth every star for me. I’m a gamer and a digital artist- my days are typically 8am-midnight and I am looking at all kinds of screens for a huge majority of my day. Whether it’s my phone, computer or cintiq, These glasses are amazing.
I was considering whether or not to buy these for over a year now (i was worried about the amber tint since I work with color sometimes.) I constantly had to take breaks while working and as a result, my productivity was really terrible. Yesterday, after working for 3 hours off and on I finally went and bought some from a local retailer. I put them on and there was an IMMEDIATE difference for me. I’m prone to migraines and sometimes get dizzy or have trouble focusing my eyes from staring at screens all day and after I put these on I worked for five more hours and my eyes weren’t remotely tired.
I will probably not wear them while coloring, but my layouts and ‘pre-color’ work takes me the most time so I think the amber tinted lenses were the best option for me.
    really great, honestly.

Really great glasses, I wear them while I play rainbow six siege and I am very vulnerable to headaches. Ever since I bought these last year I have had wayy less headaches. These also help me focus.

I have been wearing my Gunnar glasses for a year now and they are simply amazing! No more headaches, no more blurred vision. My only request would be for more colors (purple or green) in the computer styles. I purchased the pink gamers, but am now looking at the Fire Intercepts for computer use. Everyone in the office wants to borrow my glasses. LOVE! Best purchase.
    Thank you Gunnar!

I have no idea how these are. My wife tried them on before I used them, and refuses to give them back–so that’s good?!

I loved my Gunnars. These lenses work really well, completely cut down on eye soreness and headaches. H
I’m giving it only 3 stars because the bridge of the nose on the frame broke after about 3 months of wearing. Extremely disappointing. When I buy a new pair, I will pick more durable frame material.

I bought a pair in Ink at Defcon to use on a temp basis with my contacts – while my Rx glasses were getting repaired. I am completely hooked now and prefer to wear contacts and gunnars over my Rx frames. This style definitely does keep moisture in and prevents my eyes from drying out.

  22. Rated 4 out of 5

This works just as advertised, it reduced the irritation from eye-strain, the blacks and whites pop out, and there is a slight magnification which I enjoy. The only problem I have with this specific design is how uncomfortable the temple legs are with headphones on. In my opinion, Intercept is the nicest looking design and reminds me of Ray Ban Wayfarers so I’m sure this isn’t an issue with GUNNAR’s other styles but be wary of your headphones and the way this pair fits on your head. Additionally, it is required that the lenses for GUNNARs remain as clean as possible since smudges and fingerprints are easily visible. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase and they are amazing!

I bought these a few weeks ago and they were a little tight when I first got them but I’ve adjusted to them and they quickly became comfortable, very light. I’ve been prone to migraines all my life due to the fact that I had a severe head injury at the age of two, but I’ve not had one since I’ve been wearing these glasses. I almost feel naked or vulnerable if I don’t wear them. They reduce eye strain like you wouldn’t believe.

I really liked these glasses I purchased online for 60$ I had them for about 2 weeks then my 3 year old nephew steped on them and broke 1 side of the arms. I just wish they sold frames only because my lenses are still new. Definitely noticed a difference when warring them playing computer. Took away headaches and eyestrain. Would give 5 stars if they was a little more sturdy or if they sold frames only for cheaper price.

I was in combat arms in the Army for over 20 years and my eyesight was imperative to my job. I always had excellent vision. After I retired from the Army I began working in IT, which has been going on almost two years now. In this job I’ve been getting headaches and eye strains more often. A friend of mine suggested trying computer glasses. I’ve never had to wear glasses so that sounded a little strange to me, but I gave it a try. Even at the end of the first day of wearing them, my eyes weren’t strained or tired and I didn’t feel that familiar fatigue that I usually do. So far I’ve commented to my boss about them and told him that it may be worth it for the company to look into providing them for employees that may have the same symptoms if it will help improve morale and productivity. He is even interested in a pair for himself. Great glasses!

Well made but not for large heads. I admit I have a larger than normal noggin and the pinch style of these really hurt after wearing for a while. Because of insurance I suffered through but I wouldn’t purchase another pair.

I have had the Haus style before and really liked them and will go back to that style in the future. The Haus frames are heavier and more substantial. the intercepts are very lightweight.

If you have a problem with pinch style frames I would avoid these.

I have owned a pair of Intercept glasses for nearly 3 years and they have been savior for my eyesight. Without these glasses I typically get headaches and burning eyes. Gunnar glasses eliminates all that. My eyes dont feel tired or burning after prolong gaming or work sessions. I also want to mention the OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE that Gunnar provides.

Bottom line I recommend these glasses to anyone who who works behind computer monitors. Your eye sight will appreciate

At 31 years old i started getting ocular migraines out of the blue. The only thing that had changed in my life was my job in front of a computer for 8 hours. After using the glasses my migraines literally stopped completely. . I was getting 3 a week !!. Its been 2 months nothing. The glasses are priceless.

I’ve had my pair for over a year now. Absolutely the sharpest pair of glasses I’ve ever owned. They can withstand a lot of bumps and run-ins. My eye fatigue/strain has virtually gone away. My only takeaway would be the temples; they tend to be a tight fit when wearing a heavy headset.

And when it came time to update my prescription, customer service was quick, personable and sent back exactly what I wanted.

I love these frames so much that I have them in Ink, Kryptonite, Pixel, Ghost and Cobalt. I first started with the non-Rx amber lenses while working in Antarctica. Plastic tends to crack easily in extreme cold and these did not break. After I got back to the states I got the Rx lenses and I loved them. I have a very large head and had only purchased Fatheadz frames before, but these are very comfortable and have good flex. I very much wish they would come up with orange and yellow (tangerine and pineapple shades).

I get a ton of compliments on these, so I hope they keep them in their lineup for a while.

Also the design and the material are very top and made with great quality and the customer service is really great and support your doubts really quickly.
