Been using these Gunnars for over 5 years now. Work as a computer engineer with 8+ hours spent in front of a screen every day.
I am so glad I came across these and use them. Get complimented every time for the look and the yellow color glasses. Quality and make is solid, even a screw hasn’t become loose till now.
If I didn’t use them, I would’ve ended up with prescription glasses by now.
People at my job have nicknamed me ‘Gunnar’ LOL

I’ve had my pair of phenom glasses for over a year and a half and they have worked wonderfully for me. I suffer from chronic migraines and these have been a godsend since I work in front of a computer most days and spend personal time on computers or playing video games, They are very sturdy and I haven’t had any issues from them in the time that I have had them. As an added bonus, I get complimented on them frequently with the yellow tint. I originally got them half price from a groupon deal, but if something would happen to my gunnars tomorrow, I’d gladly pay the full price to get another set probably with express shipping.

Although mine were incredibly expensive when I got them (several hundred over listed price). That was 4 years ago. I am extremely happy with them. I spend greater than 14 hours a day looking at a screen and the difference they have made has been great. Although the pricing is quite steep for my RX I will still do it again when my prescription changes enough to justify the large purchase.

Can’t say I’ve gotten compliments on them, but I do get a lot of questions. I’ve likely driven some sales your way Gunnar.

I’ll give a 5 if my replacements are the advertised price when the time comes. ;P

I’ve worn the prescription version of these for full time computer work on 3 monitors. for 4+ years (with a shorter focal length than my regular glasses). They have a great wide angle viewing for multi-monitor setup, so I don’t need to turn my head as much. The fit is better than my regular (non-computer) glasses. My prescription has changed, so I am getting new lenses in them – the frame is still in great shape.

I have had a few pairs of Gunnars over the years and the Phenoms were one of the best built/sturdiest frames I have used. I work 50+ per week in an engineering firm and I am staring at my screen all day. My headaches have been less frequent and my eyes aren’t tired at the end of the day. Fantastic buy and a great look!

I purchased the Phenom about 3 years ago and just ordered another pair – I sent Gunnars my Rx, and needed these for computer. The prescription was right on and the glasses are GREAT! They’re soooo light weight and comfortable, from the first day I tried them. Am on computer for work pretty much all day long, and frequently evenings as well.

These have kept my eyes rested and my headaches are gone. I’ve been surprised by how many, and how often, I get complimented on these glasses. And like I mentioned, these frames (AND lenses) are so light it’s a treat to wear them. Glad my daughter told me about this technology.

TL:DR After 7 years I still use mine and am looking at getting another pair. These are great for anyone who looks at a screen or works under florescent lighting all day.

I have had my Phenom Onyx/Amber glasses for just over 7 years.
I developed a bad habit of not blinking while playing games and programming in school.
Now I spend most of my day either at a user’s desk, in the server room, looking my phone, or researching at my own desk in IT, all under florescent lighting and with bright screens.

I have used them off and on again over these last few years, and I have to say that they have held up well and really help with headaches and eye strain.

I was nervous in purchasing a pair of “glasses” when I do not need them.
Now all these years later, I can say I am glad that I did.
I’ve only now began looking at getting another pair, that is slightly wider, not any fault of the product.

Bottom line; for $100 do yourself the favor and save your eyes.

This is my first pair of Gunners and I am ecstatic! I can wear them all day and never worry about eyestrain. Being a progressive lenses wearer, I was concerned about the vision quality but was pleasantly surprised. I wear them more than my normal glasses with the distance rx, they’re that comfortable!

Hopefully Gunnar will develop lenses for further distances. When they do, lense makers beware!

The Phenom’s were my second pair of Gunnars. The weight, material, fit and look of these is ideal. The hinged mechanism is great, but it should be a little stiffer to avoid the glasses from slidding down or off so easily…give me that I it would be 5 stars instead of 4.

Lightweight and durable, I’ve dropped them a couple of times with no ill effects. The slight magnification took a little getting used to, until I adjusted to it I had to take breaks to avoid feeling vertigo. I’ve had them for a year now and they’re essential for anyone who spends time in front of a computer for fun or for work.
