I recently Purchased a pair of Sheadogs and I absolutely love them! They’re comfortable, stylish, and they really work. I’m even hoping to exchange my Intercept pair (Which I believe to be a defect) for another pair of Sheadogs except with Crystalline lenses.

    (verified owner):

The ‘Sheadog’ is a staple of Gunnar’s computer lineup as they are simple, effective, and look good on anybody,
Aesthetically, the Sheadog blends in with the office environment; with the Crystalline lenses they’d be undetectable as monitor-eye-strain reduction glasses. The technical highlight of these glasses would be the one-piece lightweight construction which makes for extreme comfort.

So why only three of five stars? I like the Sheadog glasses but there is alot to be desired. The construction is, in my opinion, overly lightweight and thin to the extent I feel the frames to be weak and flimsy, Full disclosure: I’ve asked coworkers what their thoughts are and some have given me the total opposite opinion, being that the frames are surprisingly solid for how thin and light they are. Still- I am not wild about the frame construction and I expected more based on other now-discontinued Computer Gunnar glasses.

Still: I would consider recommending these glasses to anyone who wants a pair of Gunnar’s lenses and a conventional looking set of frames.
