GUNNAR NON-PRESCRIPTION WARRANTY POLICY

The GUNNAR warranty policy covers products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. You are automatically eligible for GUNNAR warranty when you make a purchase on GUNNAR.com or at one of our authorized GUNNAR retailers in the U.S. No registration required.

Scratched lenses are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered under GUNNAR warranty. Any damages caused by accidents, neglect, improper use or improper storage are also not covered under warranty. Warranty claims may only be made on the originally purchased product and from the original purchase date. There is no warranty coverage provided by GUNNAR when an item is purchased through eBay or any non-authorized dealer.

NON-PRESCRIPTION WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

We will repair or replace warranty-covered non-prescription eyewear within one (1) year of the original purchase date. If the style for your frames are not available at the time of claim, someone from the GUNNAR warranty team will reach out to you with further details.

To file a claim, you’ll need your order number (if purchased on gunnar.com), proof of purchase (gift receipt, invoice, receipt, etc.), and the purchase date. Once you submit your claim, our warranty department will review and notify you of your approval or denial within 3-5 business days.

While your claim is reviewed, please do not throw away your GUNNARs as we may need to follow up or request for more photos.

GUNNAR PRESCRIPTION WARRANTY POLICY

The GUNNAR prescription warranty policy covers the frame against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date. Warranty covers defects in the lens AR coating for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. The prescription warranty also covers a one (1) time change of prescription by the doctor or request to change the frame for a period of 120 days from the original purchase date. Scratched lenses are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered under the GUNNAR warranty. Any damages caused by accidents, neglect, improper use or improper storage are also not covered under warranty.

PRESCRIPTION WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

We will repair or replace warranty-covered prescription eyewear for any defects in materials or workmanship within one (1) year of the purchase date, and any defects in the lens AR coating for a period of two (2) years from the purchase date.

To file a prescription warranty claim, you’ll need your order number (if purchased on gunnar.com), proof of purchase (gift receipt, invoice, receipt, etc.), and the purchase date. You will need to ship your prescription eyeglasses to our warranty department for processing. Customer is responsible for any return shipping costs.

Please allow between 5-6 weeks for prescription eyewear repairs. If the frames need to be replaced and the original style has been discontinued or is out of stock, you will be contacted to select an alternate choice.
